Young Lancashire is a registered charity, established in 1923 for local voluntary organisations working with children, young people and families. Organisations may join Young Lancashire as Full or Associate members. Full membership is for local groups that require support services such as advice and guidance on policies and procedures and DBS (formerly CRB) checks, whereas Associate membership is only for larger organisations that have their own HR, DBS checks, policies and training functions.
| Young Lancashire operates a membership benefits scheme. Full members receive discounts on fees plus an annual allocation of coupons redeemable against products and services on offer (see tables below). To access our resources, services or products your organisation must be a member and the organisation's main contact must be logged to this website. When you are logged in you will be able to see three new sections; Resources; Products and Events and activities with prices set dependent on whether your organisation is a Full or Associate member. Only Full members (main contacts) are issued with redeemable coupons. | |||

Our services are accessible to all organisations working with children and young people across Lancashire, who join as Full or Associate members, for which membership fees are not charged. Associates do not benefit from the discounts available to Full Members, and may only access our services on a ‘pay as you go’ basis. All members have access to a range of basic resources, which includes standard policy templates; covering governance, child protection, health & safety, equal opportunities and insurance requirements, together with regular information e-bulletins at no charge.
