Educate Against Hate: A Positive Approach to LGBT+ Young People and ‘Hate Crime’.

This one-day conference is an interactive and engaging opportunity for youth work professional and other education practitioners to understand the issues surrounding LGBT+ Young People and ‘Hate Crime’, and to develop positive responses and solutions.



10am – 4pm on 18th November 2015 at The Florence Institute, Liverpool, L8 4RF.


Into Film

UK Youth and Into Film are working together to provide young people with a number of great opportunities, including the chance of partnering UK Youth members with a professional filmmaker, enabling youth groups to make their own short films.



Right here, Right now will be a unique collective learning and reflection exercise - asking searching questions about the current ‘state’ of charities and assess their readiness to embrace internal and external change.

Good news for young people - and everyone else too! World leaders have this month unveiled 17 Global Globes to reach 3 amazing targets in the next 15 years.

They are:

New Lancaster Drama Group for special needs

Barnardos are starting a new Drama Workshop aimed at special needs young people aged 13 - 19 in Lancaster.


This new program is set to run every Wednesday for 10 weeks between 30th September and 2nd December 2015 at Lancaster Steiner School. Participation is free but the young people must have a Lancaster post code.
