Young Lancashire has arranged a series of 12 training events (funded by the LCC Central Gateway Grant) to end of June 2013. These events include: first aid, safeguarding and how to involve young people in your organsiation, plus access to an AQA standardisation training course.

Led by members of the acclaimed Grand Union Orchestra, sessions will centre on musical traditions including West African chant and drumming, South African township music, UK popular and folk, North Indian classical music, folk music and songs. The intention is not to replicate ‘world music’ styles authentically.
