This event delivers a series of workshops aimed at people working or volunteering with Children and Young People. Tea/Coffee will be available throughout the day and lunch will be provided.

As part of our Recognising Risk, Reducing Harm programme, Young Lancashire is hosting a day of consecutive workshops based around the following thematic areas:

  • Teen Domestic Violence
  • Beat the Bullies
  • Stay Safe on Line
  • Sexual Exploitation
  • Street Awareness

with contributions from Lancashire Police Deter Team; Arts Fantastic; Helen Crane Associates; Intact; and Preston United.

Taking place on Tuesday 26 June, from 9:30am - 3.45pm, at Moor Nook Community Centre, Preston, PR2 6HN.

Contact details for the presenters of the workshops & presentations will be made available should you wish to contact them or work with them in the future.

Following the event participants should consider what their next steps should be to ensure 'harm reduction' to the children, young people and families they work with.

This event can be offered free of charge to Young Lancashire member organisations as it is fully funded by Lancashire County Council Central Gateway Funding.  For people wishing to attend out side of our network, there is a small fee of £15 per person.
