Are you providing services to children, young people and families in South Ribble, Preston and Chorley?
NHS Central Lancashire and Lancashire County Council are on the look out for Voluntary, Community and Faith sector providers providing services that may help to PREVENT the following hospital A&E admissions:
Unintentional Injuries to 0-17 year olds
Injuries caused by accidents such as falls, trips, accidents resulting from tools/machinery, drowning, exposure, burns and scalds.
Deliberate Injuries to 0-17 year olds
Injuries such as; Domestic Violent, assaults, sharp/blunt, abuse.
A&E admissions (Particularly those incidents that are preventable) cost the NHS significant amounts of money. They are currently looking at different pathways of care with a view to reducing admissions to hospital. So if your organisation is providing any support to families that may help prevent such injuries occuring....we need to know about you.
