The Ribble Valley mental wellbeing action group (RVMWAG) which is a multi agency partnership have recognised the needs to engage with all partners and organisations that influence and contribute to the positive mental health of Ribble Valley residents of all ages.
They have organised a one off meeting to explore the potential for future partnership working around issues of mental health and wellbeing in the Ribble Valley.
The meeting is going to be held on;
Monday 6th September
Council Chambers
Clitheroe
9.30 – 12.30
The purpose of the meeting is to map existing services and how they relate to positive mental health and prevention, explore possibilities for partnership working, make links to other activities that promote positive well being and health, identify gaps and put together the makings of a joint action plan for a multi agency approach to meet the mission statement of the RVMWAG
‘Identify appropriate actions and resources to coordinate an approach for all agencies involved in tackling mental health issues.
Ensure positive mental health is understood and promoted by a wide range of local agencies, Build mental health awareness and areas of support in the Ribble Valley.
Ensure people who are at risk of mental health problems; people with a diagnosis of a mental illness, their carers and those who are recovering from one can access can access appropriate local services’.
