Invitation to tender: Lancashire County Council CYP Appropriate Adult Services

Expressions of interest are invited by Lancashire county council from suitably experienced agencies to provide appropriate adults services for children and young people.  Contract period 01/10/10 to 30/09/13 (with option to extend for a period not exceeding 2 years).
 

The Appropriate Adult Service, for Lancashire Youth Offending Team, needs to provide appropriately trained staff that will be able to facilitate interviews between young people who have been arrested for criminal offences and the police, in line with the requirements within PACE (Police and Criminal Evidence Act). This service will be provided to all the police stations across the County. Expressions of interest are therefore invited from providers who can demonstrate a proven track record in the development and provision of high quality Appropriate Adult services for Children and Young People.

 

Expressions of Interest should be directed to Lancashire's Corporate E Procurement system (www.lancashire.gov.uk/tendering).
