NCVO collaborative working and merger seminar for trustees

in

NCVO's Collaborative Working Team is currently promoting a free morning seminar for trustees and those who work with them.  Working in collaboration with other voluntary organisations can make your organisation more effective, efficient and resilient.  Trustees have a duty to direct the resources of the charity, which they hold `in trust’, to further its objectives for the benefit of the charities users. Trustees have particular duties and responsibilities with regard to collaboration and merger. This seminar is intended to help Trustees:

·   Understand the drivers for collaboration and merger
·   Understand their duties and responsibilities in relation to collaboration and merger
·   Understand the different models for collaboration and merger
·   Know what kind of information you might need to help make strategic decisions about collaboration and merger

The seminar (held in the following locations London - Tuesday 27th April, Bristol - Thursday 27th May, Birmingham - To be confirmed) is funded by the Dulverton Trust, and will be held in partnership with Voscur in Bristol and RAWM in Birmingham.
