This year's NCVYS annual conference and AGM will be focusing on celebrating the innovative nature of our sector; we will explore the sector's ability to solve society's most intractable problems.
There will be over 150 delegates from our membership representing the 15 million young people in England. With the largest collection of voluntary and community youth experts under our umbrella, delegates will be able to use the annual conference as an opportunity to hear from an exciting line up of speakers, including academic specialists and sector leaders who will offer insight on how enterprise has been successful in improving outcomes for young people and communities.
Seminars will cover social media, young people and money, assisting young people to achieve a sustainable livelihood and young people and governance. We will also hear from specialists in generating alternative funding sources such as Martin Brookes, Chief Executive of the New Philanthropy Capital and expert in charity effectiveness.
The conference will take place on 3 November 2010 at King's Place, London from 9:30am-4:30pm.
