Event description:
This 3 hour session, based at Your Preston F M will make full use of the experience and facilit ies of our local Community Radio project which has been running since April 2005.
This inte ractive, practical and engaging workshop will inc lude:
Objectives & Aims
Introduction to various forms of media
"Spot a Story"
Identifying good, newsworthy events and activities
n and will incorporate practical scenarios in the Preston FM studios focusing on:
Int erview techniques
Recognising different styles of interview
Interview preparatio n
Getting your message accross
n This workshop will take place on Tuesday 14 Feb ruary 2012, from 2pm - 5pm, at Your Prescap Arts & Media Centre, Fox Street, Preston, PR2 1AB and has been fully funded by Lancashire County Council's Central Gateway Funding and can th erefore be offered at No Cost to member organisati ons of Young Lancashire.
Numbers are limit ed due to studio size, so a maximum of 2 young pe ople accompanied by 1 Youth Worker per organisatio n can attend each session, however, this worksho p will be repeated at the same venue on the follow ing dates:
Tuesday 6 March: 6 :30pm - 9:30pm
Saturday 21 April: 9:00am - 12:30pm
Tuesday 8 May: & nbsp; 6:30pm - 9:30pm
