Survey reveals that three-quarters of young people volunteer
The Jack Petchey Foundation has published a new report Listen Up! They took a survey of more than 6,000 11- to 25-year-olds and the result of focus groups in schools and youth projects, found that just two per cent of young people say becoming famous is very important and only 12 per cent admire wealth. With three-quarters making a positive contribution to society by regularly volunteering.
