To work with young people using informal social education methods, to develop their skills or abilities to enable them to participate in society as independant mature individuals. To work with individuals or communities who have need by reasons of poverty, social or economic circumstances, to facilitate them to improve thier life conditions and influence urban and rural regenaration - consultation, research, training in above.

To advance the education of children and young people resident in the Preston area in all aspects of the performing arts, primarily but not exclusively in colour guard, dance and drum, with the object of improving their conditions of life and providing development oppertunities.

To prevent Youth homelessness and social isolation by empowering individuals to make positive and informed choices about their future lives. We do this by providing a range of housing related support services including accommodation, mediation, independent living and training and development support to young people at risk of homelessness in the community.

Bodies-in-Motion (Pendle) Ltd is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity (No 1119711) established in January 2005 as a non-profit making umbrella organisation to address issues of social cohesion and health in the Pendle district of Brierfield in East Lancashire. The aims of the organisation are: - to promote community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Pendle through the provision of leisure facilities; - to help young people, so as to develop their capabilities that they may grow in maturity as individuals and members of society.

We provide music and life-skills training and 'alternative provision' of formal education for young people with behavioural issues. We host and support WEA and community groups programmes of drama and crafts for adults with learning disabilities. We are a venue for musical performances and community events and have a bar/cafe for informal get-togethers.

The children and young carers of substance users family service offers one to one, group and activity support, targetting 11-19 year olds. This formed to prevent harm, protect from abuse and neglect, reduce intergenerational substance use, reduce impacts of other vulnerabalers (crime/TP/4SB) and build capacity, self confidence including increased education and attainment of attendance.
Drugline - Lanacashire offers comprehensive substancee misuse services and comparable services for sexual health and HIV . As part of this working for 10 years the service has offered dedicated services and young carers of substance users - this now formulated to meet the Hidden Harm agenda
